Whether you want to cancel your auto-recurring payments, pause your service, or fully cancel your IPTV subscription, you can do it all from your client area without contacting support. This guide explains every option.
Understand the Two Types of Cancellation
There are two separate things you can cancel, and they work differently:
- Cancel Subscription (auto-pay) — Stops the automatic credit card charges. Your service stays active until the end of the current billing period. You will need to pay manually to continue after that.
- Cancel Service (request cancellation) — Requests a full cancellation of your IPTV service. Your service will be terminated at the end of the paid period.
Most people who want to "cancel" actually want to stop the auto-pay but keep their service running until it expires. That is Option 1 below.
Option 1: Cancel Auto-Recurring Payments Only
This stops your credit card from being charged automatically. Your IPTV service continues working until the end of your current billing period.
- Log in at optimedia.top
- Go to My Services and click on the service you want to manage
- Scroll down to the Payment Subscription section
- Click Cancel Subscription
- Confirm when prompted
- Done — your card will no longer be charged automatically
After canceling the subscription, your service stays active until the end of your paid period. If you want to continue after that, you can pay the renewal invoice manually or set up a new subscription.
Option 2: Fully Cancel Your Service
This requests a complete cancellation of your IPTV service. Your service will be terminated.
- Log in at optimedia.top
- Go to My Services and click on the service
- Click the Request Cancellation button
- Choose when to cancel: End of Billing Period (recommended) or Immediately
- Enter a reason (optional) and submit
If you choose "End of Billing Period", your service remains active until your paid time runs out. If you choose "Immediately", your service is terminated right away. We recommend "End of Billing Period" so you do not lose any time you already paid for.
What Happens After Cancellation
- Your IPTV username and password stop working once the service is terminated
- Any remaining time on your subscription is still available until the end date
- Your account at optimedia.top remains active — you can log in to view invoices or reorder in the future
- Your payment card is not charged again (if subscription was canceled)
Can I Reactivate Later?
Yes. If you cancel and later decide to come back, simply log in to your account and place a new order. You may get a new username and password, or in some cases we can reactivate your old credentials. Contact support if you want to reuse your previous login.
I Want to Switch Plans, Not Cancel
If you want to change your plan (e.g., upgrade connections, switch billing cycle), you do not need to cancel. Instead, go to your service details page and click Upgrade. This changes your plan without losing your credentials or service time. See our upgrade guide for details.

Refund Policy
If you cancel within the first few days of a new subscription and have not extensively used the service, you may be eligible for a refund. Contact support with your reason and we will review your request. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis.
